we are highland park strong
Imagine this: You open a coworking space in March of 2019, with the goal of providing remote workers with a serene, supportive community.
A year later, you’re enjoying a celebratory member luncheon, toasting the first anniversary while keeping an eye on this virus-thing that’s suddenly in the news.
Days later, you shut down to the public. All the programing goes digital, all the antiseptic things are ordered, and members hang in there, voluntarily paying their membership dues.
You make it through! Then, a few years later on a gorgeous summer day, the unthinkable happens in your town. Lives are forever changed, volunteers are mobilized, millions of dollars are raised. Your coworking community again bands together, and the space becomes a center for therapy groups and volunteer drives.
I certainly didn’t have any of that on my coworking space operator bingo card. The Dayhouse community has been through some life-altering ups and downs, and we’ve done it together. I’m so proud that Dayhouse is Highland Park owned and operated. When you join Dayhouse on a membership, buy a day pass, or rent a conference room, you’re giving back to a woman-owned business in your own community.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
